4. The theme of your site is made by using templates for your design. You can get them from your editor or right from various web sites that have them very inexpensively.

5. At times you will want to add graphics to your site, but this is a bit more advanced. Try and avoid using graphics until you can get a photo editor for this, like Photo Shop.

When you get any software program, ensure it has tutorials to help you, as well as customer support features. You can also go online and find just about anything and much of the info is free, too.

Building your own website can be a lot of fun and is one of the challenges of online business. Keep everything simple until you get the hang of it. There are many good basic books you can educate yourself with as you advance. Start first with a simple site for marketing, then as you learn, you can do a theme content website. After you master the elementary steps needed for these websites you can go on to learn different techniques and build more complex websites.
